177L with Kain Heritage Limited Edition Croc strap

Finally, some decent strap for my 177!

Ordered this limited edition croc strap, I wanted something different and also a colour to match the titanium casing. Also added in a sub buckle.

The strap is nice and thick, inner lining is of extremely high quality leather. I like it very much, think it matches the watch quite well. What do you guys think?

Thanks - actually I think my camera's white balance is off. It actually looks even better in the flesh.

It was a venture well worth it. And Kain shipped it very quickly, also good communications. The watch case (which comes with strap order) is out of stock, and Kain also took the liberty to send strap first, and case later on. This of course costs more money but I wasn't made to pay. And when I opted for a sub buckle, a special "combo price" was given and was a very nice surprise.

I can certainly see why Kain was highly recommended to me and yes, I would certainly buy again!

Was that a custom strap as in one off? I'm asking because I was wondering if he does custom orders

Best be emailing Kain on custom orders.

Mine was from a range that is called "Xiran Alligator Limited Edition" which means each strap is unique and is a one off. Understandably so, if you look at the range, each strap has very unique patterns according to the actual croc skin cut out, and what you buy is the actual strap in the picture. Mine was #377, and you can see that its close to #379, #380 etc in colour except that the skin pattern is different.

My other choice was the #253. I think that would rock with the 177L's titanium colour too! Someone buy it and post pics pls!!!

Damn - I need some opinions please!

Was pretty happy with my 177 especially with the new strap and thus showed it to a friend who's really into reps, albeit always just managing to get the quartz ones at the market.

What was disappointing was that within 10 secs he pointed out something I missed in 2 weeks of ownership...

Is the dial mounted off centre - anticlockwise by perhaps 2 degrees? Does this now detract from this supposedly very gen looking watch?
