did the mods on this one for my friend converted from a 177H to 176H

*clipped seconds post
*cannon fix
*CG lever tighten mod
*swiss swanneck dagger
*waterproofing
*dial font light staining
*special blend 2-step "c2871" crazylume (tritec c1, tritec c2, noctilumina g8uf, noctilumina g7f) brighter glow than my gen!! accurate font color to my gen.

vaccum... for some reason the modded base is the most satisfying.... there is no seconds hand clearance issues so the lume can be applied much thicker than a sub seconds model. i use the loctilumina coats first for the long bright glow and the tritec layer on top very thin because it charges up faster than the noctilumina. too thick for a sandwich dial this way so the sandwich models i just mix the lumes.

for some reason the modded base is the most satisfying .

Plus some base dials available have better swiss made below 6 spacing compared to most marina sandwich dials. So that alleviates at least one more issue.8)

still cannot get results i'm happy with using smoke.. soaking the dial face in stain for a few days seems best.
