16800 on Ebay: review and report

CGs certainly look very ST to me...

Reporting worth doing but there is no way ebay will pull that with the Authenticity guarantee and wording in the text.

I've seen several eBay authenticity guarantee pieces that are obviously Frankened.
It's a shame their experts let these pass through.

I've done casework on those cases too... those are the stock fat lugs on an ST case. I've slimmed them down for other members. This one looks like they may have shaved the inner crown guards, resulting in a straight rather than curved innermost edge, but did nothing to the lugs

Just checked the watch at ebay, there's no authentic guarantee and that's because the seller ships from Brazil
I recently sold an original Rolex 16800 at ebay and there was a guy interested to buy the watch from France, so I contacted ebay
About the authentication and they said only in USA and or between USA and England.
But at the end a guy from CONUS bought my watch.
