I tried to warn them... I emailed ebay about this days ago. You would think they would have listened to me given the detail of the report and my reputation...

Feel sorry for the winner. (And who bids $5300 on such crappy photos???

So what is wrong with this watch? Can you spot the tells?

The pics are just awful, so it is really hard for me to see the tells; however, since the pictures are actual "cut outs" and the seller only has 1 feedback, I am curious if he/she even has this watch in hand to offer to sell.

I can tell you that they would not get $5,300.00 of my hard earned dollars for that - on eBay, ~ALWAYS~ buy the "seller" first.

I love that it's not even the same watch in the first pic. I like how it's one of them fancy models with the GMT-style crown guards though!

Seller may have cut images out from online because he didn't have pictures...and that is being nice.

From what I can see...

Picture 1: Coin edge bezel... cuts are not deep enough, should extend almost down to touch the line where the bezel tucks back under.

Picture 3: Crown guards!

Picture 4: Dial markers too thick, especially 12 o'clock and the round markers. "m" on 300m doesn't align with the "m" in chronometer.

lugs are drilled so it is an older sub, but has what appears to be non wrapped bracelet, also has fat CGs, 4 should be flat top unless replacement I think, markers look off

Note the lugs are drilled only on the first picture!
