Hi guys, for a long period of time I have a set of gen case set and dial lying around.
The biggest hurdle is the cutting of the dial feet which is the barrier.

Recently I saw some movements coming out from either VR3185 ?? can fit into datejusts?

The 3135 and its clone movements do not fit the 16000 series datejust cases (including 16014) since these cases are designed for the older 3035 movements which have slightly different stem height and overall dimensions.

The later 16200 series datejust cases fit the 3135 clone movements just fine without issue.

I’ve seen build threads where the movement had new holes drilled, in order to accommodate a dial without cutting its feet off. Perhaps that’s an option?

It works, i have an old gen. 16xxx case fitted with a VR 3135, original dial, crown and hands, it works. Only issue is, the caseback hits the rotor. I simply used two gaskets for the back instead of one and now it works fine.
