Oh yeah! After 3 weeks research + Study all the review of Mr.DSN. Yesterday, I pull the trigger at my 5th rep but the 1st PAM 113 White dial. Because shipment from HK to HK; I got my stunning 113 this afternoon as Mr.DSN promise. A little be nervous when I open my package; good + well packed ---->1 plastic bag + around by bubble-plastic of my 113 watch-head, & 2 seperate 115mm X 75mm Buffalo grain leather strap for my 15.3cm thinny-hand(1 Black + 1brown)....As usal a pair of extra springbar also included. (But no PANERAI leather key-ring...)

I must clearly say that my 113 white dial is a NEW-VERSION as Mr.DSN post before; Let take a quick review as below:

1.) In some review of Mr.DSN product; members complain about the lug-screw problem---->there's no thread in lug-hole. I got no such problem at both lug-hole. Both lug-hole was threaded ; so springbar are fit , tight & smooth during my installation of straps.
2.) Post 113 white dial have a flaw of 2 dots at 12 o'clock a little be too far from each others. Mine version are close as GEN. However; "L Swiss Made L" fonts are still too small & "Swiss" not at right place it should be. But this not bother me one bit; I can get along with it.
3.) My movement is Swiss 6479 with functional DAGGER not NEEDLE swan-neck; I check the photo on Official Panerai site it should be DAGGER rather than NEEDLE. That's Great!
4.) The "OFFINCE PANERAI" blue engrave on movement still a little be outlined but not serious. Also; I can get along with it too.
5.) Crown-Guard in post version are polished. This made a serious discussion of this main flaw when post version establish; but in my new version. CG already Brushed. Woo! Mr.DSN score again!
6.) C3 superlumed dial + hand are good & strong. Compare with my collection of 4th rep before (16610LV, EXPII, IWC 3717, Daytona 116509). Under NOT charged situation; 113 is the strongest lume I had. After charged; both hand lume just like a Jedi lightsaber in Star Wars! I love it!

Within this 8 hours from I received my 113; I'm very very happy about this rep. Because last 4th rep I own; each one have got 1 or 2 flaws during their arrivial. But until now; I can't found any flaw in my new 113 & absolutely out of my expectation.

One last thing need to be review ---> the accuracy; Is it like Mr.DSN said that movement are already well serviced + calibrated? After several days later we'll know the truth. Until now I vote positive to Mr.DSN modded 113 for our members. Will I purchase again? I say YES without any hestiation. :D

Sorry I can't get several photos of my 113 as my Digital camera had been borrowed by my little brother. i'm here to attach 3 photos which send by Mr.DSN for my reference.

Sorry for my terrible english! Hope u enjoy my review!
Raymond

Thx

Thank you for your thoughtful review. I really need to stop reading about Panerai. I keep wanting to buy one of each. A horrible itch to scratch!!

Looks great, Raymond. Indeed he did address the dots at 12 o'clock.

Now if they could just fix the L Swiss Made L and make the seconds subdial recessed, we'd be all set!

I too have one of these ones, very nice watch. Like it better than my black dial Pams actually, wish they did a white dial version of the 090, would be buying that one fast!

If your caseback is from the E-series, I believe the crown guard has to be polished.

If it's an H-series, then your movement is wrong.

I am assuming though that what you got is a G-series (probably wrong caseback, since there is no g-series caseback) in which case the engraved movement and brushed crown guard are correct, but the subdial has to be recessed, as someone mentioned above.

You just can't win ;) and this is true for a lot of rep Pams

but, DSN's 113 is as good as it gets for this specific model.

Don't you love the saphire crystal on it? If you own any other rep Pams, you know how different and better DSN's crystals are ;)

Joe:

You are right! The Gen 113 sec subdial should be recessed; I knew that before I pull the trigger. So; the minor flaw doesn't bother me. I forgot to mention about this in my review. Thx for your remind!

Sapphire with AR on back; I love it very much. As I didn't own any PAM before; I can't compare the different between Mr.DSN with others dealers. But I knew that Mr.DSN sapphire are the best.

Best Regards,
Raymond

Updated news!

After several days observation; I found my 113 white dial lost around 4~5mins a day. Just 2 hours ago; I went to my faithful watchsmith who serviced all my rep before. He use a machine to test the calibation; I wonder it show -233sec/day........

My watchsmith spend 5 mins to regulate my 113 to +/-0~2 sec/day. Seems my last question had been answered; My 113 are not cablirated before it ship. Anyway, it fine for me just spend usd$3.8(HK$30.-) to regulate my watch. But maybe we should pay attention to this point when we purchase from dealer's.

Cheers,
:D Raymond

I have never seen any base or luminor white dial on market with the recess subdial anyway. If there is available, i would like to know too. I search for it long long time and still cannot find one.

Sorry babola. I means for rep. Yes the gen has recess subdial for sure but never seen any rep version has recess subdial. So far I search for this rep dial and never seen the right one available yet.

Thanks for your help.

That's correct. DSN was closest to making one but decided no to in the end. I hope he changes his mind sometime soon :)
He's now offering PAM172 dial with recessed second hand subdial, so it shouldn't be that much of a trouble, although the 172 subdial comes with concentric circles, 113 doesn't.

Hope is good...it keeps us going

One thing I don't understand why some points or detail which look very obvious but when they make it, they miss it. For some reason, I never understand like the recess subdial. DSN used to tell me for certain pieces of dial if we order custom made, he can make it for one batch. I don't know if there is any member will gather a group buy, then we can order a custom part which very accurate I think.

Cheers,

Count me in...I've been waiting for that 'perfect' 113 dial for ages :(

Count me in too. I've just received a 113 from David. Beautiful watch (and fine transaction BTW- I'd recommend him highly) but one or two minor dial issues, lack of the recessed subdial being the big one. But if David or someone else could be persuaded to make a custom run of correct dials, I'd be happy to take one. Got a Fiddy as well and that one's a true work of art.
