15202 and 16202 common problem - is it me?

Hi there and I'm hoping someone can solve a niggling problem with two beautiful reps I own but which are both driving me mad. I am hoping the issue is with me rather than the watches - but expert opinion appreciated!

I have a 15400 white dial which I enjoy wearing and it made me look for a black dial 15510, which I am equally satisfied with. No issues, work great. As the itch still hasn't been scratched, however, I was curious about the 15202 and the many good things being said about it, so managed to pick one up on this site a few months ago. I wore it for a week or so without any problems. And then realised that the power reserve seemed to be really poor as it kept stopping. I have never had to bother with winding my automatic watches before, as I wear them constantlym but within 24 hours of winding, the same problem occurs: the watch randomly stops.

Eventually, I put it down to my misfortune and reverted to the bigger sizes. Then a 16202 came up, I bought it - and exactly the same has happened. It was OK initially, then runs out of juice despite wearing it all the time, even in bed.

My 15400 and 15510 both seem fine, as do my other reps. Am I doing something wrong? Opinions invited... thanks, Tim

I have a ZF 15202. If you also own a ZF then I can test mine from this point of view. I very rarely wear a watch out of my 80+ timepieces for more than a day in a row so I don't remember how my 15202 performs. 😂

Same thing with mine when I don´t wind it up manually.
Just winding it with the automatic gives it a power reserve of ~ 12hrs.
So I just keep winding it manually every day which doesn´t bother me too much.
I consider it a minor flaw considering the overall quality in correspondance with the price.
I still find it amazing what you get for the money.

My zf goes for 40 hours. So it's just you getting a lemon or not swinging your arm around enough.

Thanks both. Could be some kind of fruit, I guess, but strange I got two in a row. Someone else suggested ten winding rotations per day should do it - anyone else have other thoughts?

I had same issue with my 15202, but no issue with 16202. But I have fixed issue with 15202.
Have you silenced rotor noise on 15202?
