Yes thank youunfortunately- all of the above is the correct answer. There are some really talented watch smiths in all of those countries though. If you are looking for a good contact, pm me and I can give ya a WhatsApp # of someone I have had very good luck with.
I have had very good luck with
. Am I being paranoid or are they scammers?
So it was just down to luck then, not their skill, years of training or experience ?
Look at their sales history and feedback, a 1500 calibre movement amongst a lot of junk isn't a good sign, if they regularly sell vintage watch parts and have good feedback then you'll probably be OK to purchase from them.i was wondering since the air king uses a 1520 probably he better to buy one at a good deal and take the movement out. Sell the other parts,What are your thoughts on that ?

kind of tuff finding one for a decent priceYes, you can purchase something with a 1520 inside and sell on the case etc to recover some funds, but you need to make sure the movement is OK. Just because it's a good deal doesn't mean it actually is a good deal.
Servicing a 15** Cal costs from $600 or more, if you purchase movement that needs a service and parts replaced it's a false economy. Spend a little extra and purchase a movement that's been serviced recently and/or has proof that it is running well - timegrapher pics for example.
Nope, pull the pin, close your eyes and toss it- YOLOSo it was just down to luck then, not their skill, years of training or experience ?

Always professional sellers (not private seller), for me it is the most reliable and always looking at the feedback of that company.
