Hello Panerai fans! Just want to throw this small detail out there in regards to the 1393 from VSF vs. gen. In researching the flaws of the 1393 rep, one of the noted flaws was the difference in thickness 13.2 gen vs 14mm rep. This already was not a large difference at all, however I found it curious there were mixed accounts of gen thickness on the market. I have recently found someone with a gen 1393 and with calipers has measured the gen at 13.56. This of course means VSF is .44mm larger in thickness and not .8mm from caseback to center crystal. I think we can confidently say that’s hardly noticeable.
