Hey all,
Wondering if anyone has successfully modded a 127 to fit a plexi instead of the Sapphire. I’m not a fan of the weight or the look of the domed Sapphire, I prefer everything about plastic.

If anyone has done it, I’d really like to know what parts were required/fit. Guessing new bezel parts might be necessary...

Thanks in advance,
Jake

Remove the glass measure it, then order some plexi glass from eBay to your specific sizes. Custom shap/dome them to your exact spec.
There’s a tutorial on homageforum called “monster plexis- the pickle method”

I think I’m gonna keep it, been wearing it today and like it much more this time, sorry!

Nice, thank you! I’ll probably run it as is after all for a while at least. Not much interest in a used 127 I guess and I really do love the case.

Currently building a 6152 no cg with a cortebert 616 and will definitely keep this bookmarked if the Sapphire is unbearable.

Thank you all so much!!!
