127 Miltat Canvas strap Question

Hi all,
I'm looking at this canvas strap for my old pam127 rep

has anyone used this or a similar canvas strap? How do they hold up and do they take well to water?
also has anyone used the website before?

(On an unrelated note I have a fiddy rep from 2010 with OEM band which I wore every day for 3 years and lately wear on and off. In 2014 after a few solid years wearing and a few scratches I went from the searing Australian summer heat into a frosty walk in cold room (getting beer of course) and the crystal packed up and went home, cracking across the face and around the dome basically it was repaired with another replica case and crystal and it still runs for 3 days once 95% wound)-Good stuff

So I figure its time for a bit of a change hence the search for a different band.

If that's the exact strap that would be wrong for the Fiddy as that is 24mm. The proper PAM127 has 26mm lugs. So unless you have a mini Fiddy (fantasy 44mm version of the PAM127) you won't be able to use that strap and there is no 26mm canvas strap in the Strapcode website.
