hi guys

i have ordered a fiddy from Angus, US$ 328 shipped to sweden. now my friend at work also wants to start collecting pams.
he is a omega-guy but have seen my small collection of pams, 111h, 113h from dsn and 253 from josh. he also wants a fiddy,
but dont want to pay as much as i have, so i show him trevors site, he has a 127 for US$ 105 with minerals.

my question to you is, compared to angus 127, how is trevors 127. i know that the lume is average and there are now canon pin fix.
but apart from that, can you spot yhe difference if you have trevors side by side with angus 127.

please enlighten me and my friend!

thanx in advance | rek

p.s happy new year to you all guys :D

Well, both watches use the same case (serial no. 0117), so that's good. However, the text print on Trevors watch appears to be too white, the watches in the Historic lineup from Panerai use an ivory/light beige/off white color. Angus' text print is closer to being correct. Trevor's watch doesn't use a swan neck movement, Angus' does. I personally don't trust mineral crystals of this design, no matter if they are for 47mm or 44mm watches.

So, my vote would go to Angus' 127 with the $60 sapphire upgrade, for a total of $278.

I have just received mine from Angus(as well with pin fix, saphire crystal, and asian mvmt), looks great and the service from Angus was very good.
I have some issues with my photo camera, so can not post pictures.
