126500 Panda Comparison(Gen,Clean,BTF)

Previously, we posted a comparison of the 126500 Panda, but BTF was not included at that time.

Many forum members expressed interest in seeing a comparison with BTF. This time, we've added BTF to the comparison and included the Gen and Clean as well.

We can see that that BTF actually has superior dial tone to Clean. It is warmer, while Clean is "cooler."

However the trade off for this is that BTF subdial is inferior. It has a weird "step" to it that doesn't exist on gen.

BTF's bezel is another difference, although up close neither are quite like gen. Maybe BTF is slightly more like gen in depth but misses a few points overall.

It’s really hard to say for sure since the exposure/white balance is likely different in all of these pictures. Very evident in the top row/first pictures.

BTF subdial rings are garbage.

Yes the BTF sub dials are still off, but the dial color and font printing look really nice.

@steve_theonewatches could you please confirm if Clean or BT or VS have underside AR crystal like gen?

clean claps, rehaut, hands, crystal, bracelets

The dial, for me, is an horror for all rep.

I currently have three versions in my possession, and based on firsthand experience, I believe the BTF dial color is spot on with the gen. The Clean dial is definitely on the cooler side. While the black sub-dial rings on the BTF could be slightly thinner, it’s a detail that I think most people won't notice. Personally, I think the Clean sub-dial black rings are even thinner than the gen.

Below is a comparison of the Clean 116500 Franken, Gen 116500, and BTF 126500 stock:

I highly doubt Rolex has changed the white dial color in the 126500 version, so my assumption is most likely correct.

It seems clean still needs a crystal change.. I believe that blueish hue is caused by crystal, just like clean's 116500 batches.

The 116500 Clean franken has a gen crystal.

Considering the gen 11 white dials vary in color based on year/batch, why would you assume the 11 and 12 white dials are the same.

And the tone of the white dial can vary based on lighting. It’s not a deal breaker for me. Maybe it is for others.

Fat subdial rings are fat in any light.

I had commented (and i deleted) because I did not read correctly.

For the 12 series, Clean is the way to go for me…where as for the 11 it’s BTF
