Honestly, I'm =torn between the two. I think the 116613LB is better replicated, especially now with C+'s tungsten variant :



But I think the 126613LB looks better :

On Clean I would say that it's fine, passable, not a huge difference for these ones. Still better to get it replated though.

The beauty of the two tone is that you can just buy a new bracelet when the old one tarnishes since the main case is steel. Even the bezel tooth ring can be replaced as well.

116613LB = gold text is more elegant and classy.
126613LB = white text is more sporty.

Most Rolex models have white text, which makes the 11 series Submariner two-tone and solid gold models, with gold text, very unique.

I actually owned the gen but sold it a few years ago. Kind of regret it. This CF has gen crystal and DW

I had the choice of either and picked the 116613 LB. Not sorry, it's a classic but the 126 is gorgeous too and will likely be around in gen for a long time too.

One note if you get a CLEAN 116 since they switched to using VS3135 about a year and a half ago, there is an issue with more than a few where the DW sits low. I have a replacement DW to try and if that doesn't fix it I'll change the movement. BTW the Raffles 3135 DW is quite good, at its price point I can't see buying a gen DW but ofc gen is gen.

Lately I've been sanding 3135 DW teeth off and using them as DWOs

My CLEAN 116. You really can't go wrong either way.

For me the 116613LB.
as others pointed out, the gold letters looks better and no "fake" white (lol).
and the sunburst looks better. Clean gold is matching my original gold bracelet I got on another build.
its the perfect Rolex.

I am a 126613LB guy because I have large wrists.

I am such a fan of the bluesy I had to get both 126613LB and 126618LB, both from clean factory. I would have preferred the VSF movement but I just could not stand the crazy orange shade of the VSF gold.

Although the dial on the 12 series is .3mm larger in diameter, the 11 series case is larger and has most wrist presence due to the maxi case.

12 series dial+bezel = 40.5mm
11 series dial+bezel = 40.2mm

12 series case = 26.7mm
11 series case = 27.5mm

I prefer the 116613 cause it looks more Classic. I bought the raffles DW but changed to a gen cause the colour looks way better to my eyes.
