111M Pam First order from Dealer QC Pics Help Needed!

Crown guard? Most likely you'll have to tie screws that hold it in place and everything will be fine

So don't reject? I'm kind of bummed that I just ordered this then the noob factory comes out with one with a high beat movement (which sounds better?) I don't know if low vs high beat means anything but it WOULD be my luck for that to happen.

Is the "low beat" movement in this one worse than the high beat? I'm just hoping this is a good quality rep. Not trying to have it die on me soon.

Read PAM subforum. There was thread yesterday or couple of days before where same questions were clarified for everyone. Watch looks good to me, Puretime is my favorite dealer so I would not hesitate to buy it. However, I personally am not a PAM expert so I can't give you any other advice. If you have any doubts - write Angus - he might be willing to swap it for new noob factory rep.

The watch looks great! At least the swan neck regulator is properly in place, some members have a problem where by the sword sits on top of the regular by accident, I got my PAM111M just last week from pure time and it looked fine but I had to tighten the lug screws which isn't much of a burden! Enjoy it

Looks great! Just make sure that "thing on the right" the crown guard aka CG is nice and flush or 99% flush to the case. The shadowing looks tricky IMO. Also the part of the CG lever touching the crown (thing with the teeth grip) there is a roller ball with a pin holding it in place. Ask for a pic of this specifically and make sure the pin looks nice and round/ flush in place. I got mine and it looked as if a six year old took plyers and smashed the top flat and hammered it in. Terrible. I think you should get it and have two , but find a 111j dial so someone can swap it in for you. Best dial out there. Cheers!

Thanks, well based on what I heard previously I just accepted it and it already shipped. I hope I don't have any issues with it. Hopefully it doesn't have any of the issues you referenced ^; however, I really don't know what you are referencing

I'm learning things everyday though so that is encouraging. What exactly is tricky?

I was just saying that the shadows in the QC pics sometimes can be misleading ab quality of finish.
