111M - Found my limit...

New Pam 111M (Noob) arrived today (My first PAM...Thanks Angus at Puretime!)! Lovely piece...however my puny wrist (just below 7") struggles with it on the stiff leather strap included.

I managed to get away with a Hublot Big Bang (v6) OK on my wrist, so I'm hoping a change of strap will fix it! Got a couple of beauties on the way from C&B straps.

Yeah, those standard rep straps suck. Throwaway ! Go aftermarket, as done, at once! Will customize your PAM to your own liking

You should have ordered the rubber. It is not only cheaper but actually quite nice to wear until your new strap arrives.

I quite like those thick leather straps on the H Pam's, very thick leather and much. Better than the bog standard rep straps.

Phil, I think you should keep the stiff strap and eat lots of pie and mash and jacket potatoes... You could end up with a 8" wrist!!!!!!

An aftermarket strap, whilst about half the price of the rep, will make it a million times better. Have a look at Kain Heritage or Heroic18 strap sites. We also have plenty of strap makers on the boards if you want a specific type of strap.

You should give Bronzy a shout, he does great straps for dirt cheap. Ach does great work too for a bit more. You'll find that you're going to be spending more on straps than on PAMs lol.

Boostin, I'm 6 and 3/4 as well, and IMO PAMs look perfect on me.

+1 for Kain Heritage (great exotics and trads) and Gunny (as soft as the proverbial baby's bum). Also I just asked Vootzilla to make up one for me that will take the Pam deployant clasp. If he is not on this site then check him out on RepGeek.

Te latest PAM rep leather straps on the Noob-111 and the H-000, for example, are the best ever produced by 'the factories'. Yes, the aftermarket producers, like HK, Kain Heritage snd others, offer great variety and are less expensive than Gunny, MP and Dirk.
Depending on the occasion why not keep a few in the case and rotate them?. BTW try Voot's straps, they are a great value.
