111j movement failure, need repair/replacement

When winding the 111j up a few days ago, the spring doesn't get tight and stop as before but builds up some tension then releases. I can't see exactly where it's snapped but now power reserve has dropped to 4-5 hours.
Is it worth getting this repaired or replaced? Is there anyone in EU/UK can do it. Is there a more accurate high beat movement I could put in? I've heard those new platinum ones are good but are they only low beat?
