111h/j vs. 005 vs. 312 - Opinions Wanted!

Hi All-

I own the H factory 005 and love it. Was thinking about getting another pam and debating between the 111 and 312. First question, what is the most recent version the 111h or 111j? And are they both from the H factory?

Also, how do you think it compares to the 312? Or would I be better off getting something else all together.

All your input would be appreciated!

111 H or J are not from the H-factory, if you want one from them you should look at the new 111M

312 is an auto Pam in a 1950 style case, IMHO something which can not be compared to a hand-wind Pam ...

I apologize I meant the 111 M vs. the 111 J..not H....I take it the M is the most recent and from the H factory?

How does the 312 or 111M compared to the 005? Same Gen like qualities?

i have a 111J & a 312L.. i must say, e 312 is smth different frm e 005 u alr have.. tt being said, both r really nice pieces.. cant really compare as Mambo has mentioned, one auto while e other is manual.. one is luminor case while e other is 1950s case.. its really up to u what u want.. but both r great to have

Agreed..but in terms of likeness to GEN I guess...my 005 is so close to it, without any mods....in terms of likeness is it the 111 j /m or the 312? And obviously i'm taking about just the face/case etc, not the movement as I realize that is hard to do on the p9000 movement.

The 312L is supposed to be extremely close to the gen, the only problem is that is auto mvmt. Is totally different looking and this is obvious because it has an exhibition case. I have the 312L and am very happy with it and if you don't have the mvmt of the gen in mind or a gen next to it, it can pass as the gen. But next to the gen the mvmt is a tell tale. The case and the dial on the other hand are nearly perfect...

312L is a great watch. It would be a nice contrast to the 005k.

I agree, but in terms of quality, 111 is probably more gen like (besides the movement) or they pretty much on par it seems?
