I know ziggy services these movements but I hear he's taking a little (I imagine well deserved cause he's the only one I know of) break from the servicing for a time. I was wondering if anyone else knew anyone that serviced these? I have a 111 that stops every time it gets to 6:30. It's the damndest thing and I can just wait 10 minutes and then set it again but who wants to do that :p If anyone has any ideas let me know. Thanks

P.S. Pug I know you know somebody that does these things andyou always seem to find me these answers!

I'm not sure if it's rubbing hands or not. Maybe I'll take a look at that and see if I can tell. Do you think the seconds hand would stop as well? I mean it would just stop like that? I also noticed that if I put it around 6:30 and go backwards instead of forward to set it the seconds hand does this little stutter step kind of thing and it goes backwards as well a little bit! It's a very crazy thing. But I have to be honest for anyone on the fence about this watch...it's AMAZING!!! It's a gorgeous watch and I'm so glad I finally got it. But the damn thing is not perfect!! How much do you think (and where most importantly because I'm in talks with the dealer about them helping me out with something to fix this) I could pick up another CN movement for this watch?

Well I thought about grabbing one from davidsen because like you said they aren't very expensive and it would fix the recessed pin issue (which I don't even think it's an issue..when I got the watch you have to REALLY REALLY look for that "issue" if anyone noticed that on mine from my wrist I'd give them the watch ;) ) so I thought of doing that but I haven't worked on watches before. I know there's always time to start and I'm good with taking things apart and putting them back together but honestly....whats the difficulty in pulling one of these apart and replacing the movement?

Handset removal and placement is one of those things that can ruin your patience ... reps are fun in that they are much easier to destory without regret.

tell me about it....!!!

But you think with a good screwdriver set and a nice hands remover it shouldn't be too hard for someone with a certain amount of patience?
