111 rep on ebay being sold as genuine?

I've been looking for a gen pam recently and have been prowling ebay and the gen forums.

I happened to come across this 111. Nice closeups of the movement, that clearly shows that it is a rep.

I wonder if these dealers are just duped by people trading in reps and selling these unknowingly.

I wrote to the seller, he claimed to have taken it in trade, but I think that's just a smokescreen.
I had a reply in less than two hours, during his night-time, claiming to have taken it to his smith who verified it was rep after I pointed it out.

Dont worry
I saved someone on ebay few years ago (the Ploprof V2 release month) to purchase a rep , described as a Gen.

I guess we cannot save everyones from theses crooks
