Recently completed Rolex Explorer build. - 1016


The recipe

Raffles case set
Clarks T21 crystal
Ruby Dial
Tudor sub hands
Asian 2824

Aged the hands to match.
Machined the bezel to fit the T21 crystal
Aged case and bracelet

Really dig how this turned out. Aged the hands perfectly to the dial.
the rotor was nice and quiet and the movement runs , winds and sets sweet.

Very nice. I think a lot of meat could come off the lugs to be closer to gen, but looks good. Is the crown also part of the Yuki set? profile looks nice and those dials are a lot nicer than they used to be. Would you build another?
