Exactly one year ago Thanksgiving day I joined RWI. Up to that point I had just finished the TZ classes and thought OK now what? I was in the process of buying a watch from Idealwatches when I decided to do some more searching rather than fork over 1G for a fake Seadweller. That is when I stumbled on the "Dark Side", which really turned out not to be dark afterall.
I want to say thank-you to everyone here on this board, all the Admin, Mods, and all members. You guys are the best and I feel lucky to have found this place. It was fun to actually meet the real people behind the nics at the San Francisco GTG way back in March, it was a nice interaction and to see all of the fantastic reps from very knowledgable people. RWI has turned out to be a portal for me to find new watch friends and an opportunity to rub shoulders with other watch enthusiasts...
Anyway I received an PM from Horologie_Unitas last week. He remembered that I posted a while back that my next watch would be a Pam 127 and he was considering selling his. Well I wasn't going to buy one so soon but after he sent me the photos I could not resist...It's the last watch I will buy this year and I have to say now that I am a Pam lover, this Fiddy is my favorite of all, just beautiful..H_U is very knowledgable about Pam's and I feel lucky to have bought his. Thanks so much Steven.
So on my official 1st Anniversary here at RWI, it seems appropriate to post some pics of my new Fiddy. (H_U the watch will be in good hands, I promise)
Wishing you all a great Thanksgiving and all the best for the remainder of 2007....David.
