I figure I still owe a review of my buying experience three years back, and I also want to document my current puretime order here.
Through their support platform I can still replicate the process today, three years later.
Order #1 (Nov 2019): # 100184952
Nov 29: Wanting to buy a BB 36 KRF and rumors of a v3 I inquired about getting this watch from them, because they were recommended for German buyers for offering triangle shipping back then.
Nov 30: I got an answer that there was only a v2 as the latest version and different Dealers named it v2 or v3, but it was all the same. Placed an order the same night. Because they offered a discount on that, I opted to pay via btc, which was a bit complicated, because their mail system rejected emails containing payment information from me. I sent the information as a screenshot and the issue was resolved.
Dec 02: Payment confirmed
Dec 06: As a impatient noob buyer I asked when the QC will arrive because I was going on a holiday with bad/no reception. Customer service told me friendly to relax and that they would wait for me to return from my vacation if I did not immediately respond to the QC.
Dec 11: QC received and approved. However the leather strap was missing from the bundle, so I asked about it. They told me it was sold out and they would have to wait a few more days until they could deliver it.
Dec 14: Shipment confirmed.
Dec 17: Tracking info received.
Dec 30: Watch delivered to my door in Germany. As mentioned before I choose the triangle shipping option and did receive constant updates about the whereabouts of my shipment, however they were not very accurate, which did not bother me.
Over all the reliability and responsiveness of the service, as well as their speed was a through and through positive experience.
Order #2 (Jan 2023): # 100263894
A special occasion led to me spontaneously buying a watch I had been eyeing for a while. The XF Pelagos LHD. Naturally I choose puretime again because of my previous experience and my existing account with them.
Jan 08: Watch ordered. The gen comes bundled with a rubber strap and most other Dealers advertise so on their sites, so I inquired about that, because it was not in the pictures.
The mail must be lost somewhere in transit, unanswered. But I received payment instructions within a few hours.
Jan 10: payment confirmed
Jan 10: QC received. Must have had one in stock. In the pictures: the rubber strap.
Jan 11: QC approved, Shipment apparently sent out that day.
Jan 15: Inquired about tracking info on my shipment via email.
That is the current status today, waiting on a reply. Most likely already on CNY break.
