As far as i know 2893 and 2836/mod movt share the saem size hands and thier dial feet is the same too.But the thickness of the the movt is differeent.2836 is a bit thicker than then 2893.
If you want to fit a 2893 movt inot a 2836 case it is still possible but you will have to get a
tailor make movt spacer to fit the new 2893 movt.I think you can get one from your dealer.
Ask him to send you this too.
