Firstly, thanks to all of you who offered advice on this combo. Much appreciated, as always.
Here are a couple of pics of my Titanium 056 from Davidsen with a strap I just received from Savage. I think the combo works really well! I did modify the CG on the 056, turning it the right way around and skimming it to lie more correctly on the watch case and to end up with a flush pin. Thanks, Hooligan.
Now the bad news. I assumed the lug width of the Destro, at 24mm, was the same as the width of the Titanium buckle that came with it. Wrong. It is 22mm. Thus Savage's stunning strap (man is it beautiful. Far better than his photos suggest--and they are good photos) strap doesn't actually work because it can't pull through the buckle. My fault, entirely! Not the end of the world. It fits my Davisden 112 perfectly and looks great on it too--though I just love the colour combo of the strap leather with the titanium. (does anyone know whether Davidesn does a 24mm buckle?)
