029m Ziggy-fied! (modem melter)

After getting this 29, I realized it needed more work than I could do myself. It came with a badly pressed crystal and the keyless was kaput. Also, the almost neon green lume bugged me.

Off to Ziggy she went! Keyless fixed. Crystal pressed in correctly. Relume using C3 A+ Superluminova, which gives it a much more subtle, more natural "lume green" instead of the artificial green it came with. But then, this is my own opinion, and I'm by far the noobiest Pam fan. (but hey at least I didn't call it a PAN!)

Let the pics do the talking. Note: it was hard for me to capture the real color. It's not white. It's not as green as oob.

Losing sunlight when I took these but wanted some outdoor shots.

Lume shot in dim light looks so cool.

Ziggy's report stated he scraped off the factory's lume and "sausages" because they were too high. He then relumed the dial and hands. Here are the pics I sent him and asked to make mine as close to these photos as possible.

reallyy good lume, and the color is different than what factories are using too

i could tell u is the best superlume outthere and gen uses tritec superluminova same as this a+
crazy pricy tho, about 50 dollars a gram

Nice !! To me the factory lume is good imo . Compare it to my gen 164m sausage dial , its also look greenish yellow . On the gen it's slightly greener and more glossy . But without a gen side by side , hardly able to tell the difference . On another subject , the cg on the rep is GOLD ! 1:1 compare to my gen .

Ziggy is the grandmaster of the lume job. But as for the color... Well, a few months ago I bought the set of gen 29 hands from Vanni. I initially intended to use them on my 063, but the color of the hands was more green than I expected, so I bought 029M from PureTime, and fit 2893-2 movement to it along with the gen hands. The color of the dial of the rep dial is the same as the color of the gen hands. Spot on. I know many people ordered reluming job for 029M, but I think it is unnecessary. The only thing to do is to source old cartel GMT hand, and make it greener to match the dial. The point is that the 029M rep GMT hand has incorrecly shaped arrow triangle, and old cartel 063/029 GMT hand is very close in shape to the gen. Here are some pics.

My dial has small has marks, Minute marks? is this correct? Or is ths the difference between the 029a 029b and o29M. I havea gen 2893-2 movement i would really like ot make a franken watch but my dial and CD are not so hot.
