026k DOA need some advice

So my 026k noob came in the mail today. Looked awesome and was excited.. wind the watch about 20 to 30 rotation and it started to run. I noticed the sec hand was fluttering a little and when I adjusted the time I see that when I set time a few minutes back the sec hand also goes backwards a little. The watch runs and then it stops. A gentle shake or two get it going again for about 10 secs or so and it stops again, and on and on. What can i do? Is this watch as good as dead, or can it be serviced. I read that the 026k has a movement issue but I figure I take a chance cause I really like the look. From the description of the movement issue, can a watch smith easily fix this particular movement or should I send it back? thanks in advance guys.

In my opinion you should check with a watch smith... Of course if you have one that is rep friendly

problem fixed. Toro schooled me..

mine came Saturday...so far no movement issues. the strap it comes with is brutal however, I can't wait to replace it.
