Dear folks:

Anyone had swapped the ST36 on new 026k DLC? I bought a new st36 and send it to my wstchsmith to swsp. However, he told me that he can't do that & help me to overhaul serviced the stock low beat. He had the following problems:

1.) the dial feet location is different between the low beat & high beat. Low beat dial feet holes are is much closer than the high beat. That's why he can't fit in the dial on st36 without modification.
2.) the diameter of the high beat is bigger than the low beat, so he found it is quite difficult to fit the movement inside the case.

Anyone had swapped the 026k with new st36 high beat movement? Although my watch smith serviced the low beat & it running like a champ but I'm a little bit disappoint to waste a nice movement & it just sitting in my drawer.....any comment?
I saw many members do the swapped by themshevle; so I suppose it's a very simple striangle forward mod. Is it because 026k is destro & different from the 111j 005k 177? My 292 is on the way, I'm thinking to swap it with the st36 & see whether it's ok or not....Your input & comment are mostly welcome!!

I did !
And already swap 026 x 3 , 005 x 5 , 318 x 3 , 292 x 1 .
So I don't know why these problems from .
Only problems is hand sets , not the dial .

My watchsmith swapped in a GETAT mvt no problem - Said the seconds hand was closer to the dial now but no real issues he said (used the canon pinion from the old movement to fit hands aswell.)
