005k movement swap

Hi everyone,

I own a 005k V1 which i've bought about a year ago, id like to swap out the old movement with the ST36, but I have no experiences in modding watches. How hard is it to do this? Is the ST36 the one to go for? thanks.

Found this on ebay, will this one fit?

I'd say give it to a local watchsmith, hands are hard to swap they might snap very easy.
The movement in your link is correct, I bought several times from Helenarou.

oh one more thing, is the ST36 a quieter movement? the one in my V1 is rather noisy.

Yes it's quieter, it's actually a better movement too.

Swap the HF 005 V.1 will get some problems .
1. Cannon pin size was different . The low beat movement in your 005 got bigger CP , so the min hand will not fit very well on new movement .
2. Sec hand got same problem as min hand .

You can swap the CP at the same time , and use some glue on sec hand . That's the easier way to solve the problem .
But better find a watchsmith to help you if you don't really know what to do .
