I recently bought this watch for a project that didn’t end up happening, so now this truly stunning piece is available for you. It may have a few tiny hairline marks as it has been worked on, but nothing major (see pictures). Here’s what I’ve done myself:
- Polished the rehaut for a refined look.
- Silenced the rotor, though keep in mind that even genuine OPs have some rotor noise.
- Cleaned and greased the crown threads for smooth operation.
- Regulated the movement slightly, as watches from China can sometimes become magnetized or lose accuracy after long shipping times.
- Greased the caseback gasket and tightened it, so you can confidently wear it in the shower.
- Cleaned the bracelet and treated it with conditioner for a fresh feel, while leaving the stickers on the clasp so you can experience that "brand new" moment when you receive it.
