“Loud” automatic watches

Kind of a weird random thought…

I was sorting through my collection today, and came across an older Timex Quartz watch I bought years ago. One thing I always loved about it, was how loud the ticking was (I’m weird, but certain sounds are therapeutic, hah).

I wouldn’t mind finding an automatic watch that has a rather loud “ticking” sound.

Any suggestions?

Hmm, maybe an old pin-lever escapement movement that has no jewels on hits pallet fork or a watch with a thin case and acrylic crystal.

my vostoks have a good soviet tick to them

also my Sugess Daytona homage had a rotor so loud and so sensitive that I use it as a fidget toy I love it

Im the complete opposite, I have ears like an eagle and cant stand anything noisy. Ive got an old CCCP pocket watch that sounds like a metronome

I love a "loud tick" from a watch but CAN NOT STAND a noisy rotor, drives me insane
