The ‘premier league’ hybrid retains the XF dial but uses the ZF’s new case, crystal, bracelet, crown and datewheel, for example.
To recoup some of my investment, therefore, Legend has reassembled the second-best parts into this ‘championship’ version 15202 – ZF dial, XF base/bracelet – which looks equally amazing and of course it comes with the care and attention associated with such a master craftsman.
I had custom hands installed on the new watch which means the XF hands – not the much-derided ZF pizza base ones – are on the one I now offer for sale. That in itself is a reason to buy!
Legend himself has suggested a resale value of just $450 for this piece, which is £336 in the currency I would like to accept (GBP). I’m not inclined to accept offers for this truly unique piece.
There are a few scratches here and there on the case and bracelet but nothing substantial.
No returns, no warranty and lowballers will be ignored. I choose buyer once green. I will ship bombproof anywhere in the world. Would prefer UK but only because it’s marginally less hassle. Once the package leaves my hands, so too does my responsibility for it but I will do what I can to help if there are any issues. I have sent watches pretty much everywhere without any problems.
