Guys, please dont bash me for asking this question...again.

i know this has been asked thousand of times, and i've search by entering
"Removing AR", "Removing PAM AR", "Stripping AR', etc

But no result. I've been reading and searching the PAM and Modding for a few pages, and still found nothing.

So here's the question :

Anyone can teach me how to remove the bluish ar on the pam?

"peace"

I've read somewhere that we can actually remove it my using metal polish.

Is that right?

I have heard / read acetone and a Q-tip (but I have never tried it).

I personally have removed DSN AR and Cheifs AR from my PAMs.

I tried acetone didnt work for me so I used Stainless Steelpolish and microfibre cloth came straight off on both watches. You need daylight to check you have it all off properly.

Remember most PAM rep AR is inside not out including DSN's so you need to remove CB and movement etc

Also some guys use Ammonia

So far a very strong acid will do the trick but you need license for this.

Cape cod you have to beware of the edges and it takes too long.

Try the green scotch brite pad. Again, pay attention to the edges. This will do the trick.

Thats the great thing about the SS polish you dont have to worry about the edges like you do with Scotch brite or CC cloth

Thanks for all the input guys, really appreciate it.
I was planning to remove the AR on my first DSN, because i'm a bit afraid with that bluish AR, but after wearing it for two days, i think i'm just gonna live with it.

It doesnt look that bad :D

I though DSN AR is on the outside, lucky i posted this question before i've done anything, hehehe.

Anyway, if we remove the AR, doesnt it make the watch further from the gen?
