ill be off to hospital on Tuesday the 5th jan fora simple brain oporation to remove a persistent growth .... its a bit like the Egyptian mummification process
they poke some sharp things up my nose shake it about for a bit  then put the vacuum cleaner up and suck it all down ...simples :nah:

im not worried about the op as i have had it before (when it was an emergency )
apart from the panda eyes i will be left with :wideeyed:
my wife on the other hand is acting all funny again getting rather emotional on me .im even getting out of rotain sex at the moment :notworthy: so its giving some pleasure ........
last year i had 3 spinal ops and my spinal cord implant replaced ,so im no stranger the big cold table ......
the thing that is really worrying me is what watch shall i take with me for the week .i was thinking the Ebel panda (as my eyes will be the same afterwards )
im arriveng at 1:30 pm and should be on the table (awake for the op) at 3 pm .
they wont let me go later that day .something about complications and all that crap .so ill have top stay with them for about 5 days minimal :realmad::realmad:
ill try and keep in touch using my Iphone but that wont be easy ..... i have a couple of sales going on during that time so the people involved ,ill get the payments to you before i go .......

back to the important stuff what rep to take with me ......... the Ebel or something else ??????????????????

I'm pretty sure they won't allow you to be wearing any watch at all during the operation, so you are really just raising your chances of getting your watch stolen or lost by bringing it to the hospital.

I think that you should go with a Timex.

Good luck with the operation too. :)

You'll be in my prayers, Sam.
Take a Seiko. You'll both keep ticking through anything they throw at you.

Bud, I wish you best of luck and lots of prayers for you. Is it a day surgery or an overnight stay?

Sorry to hear that...
I know you are strong enough to joke about this, and I admire that :)

Your new watch will be shipped from here tomorrow, so you'll have it home when you're back ;)
You can ignore my previous PM, which was sent before I read this thread : we can arrange the financial things later, when you're out of this operation.

Get a Casio with you, noone wants to steal that ;)

I agree. That's pretty sad when the people who are supposed to be saving your life are stealing your stuff.

my surgeon is a good man mate .i gave him a good rep the last time we met after the scan .............. so im: coverd from his stealling it from me :biglaugh:
who would be daft enough to steal from me anyhow ........

Thanks for your words people ............. i have been to hell and back in my life so another oporation is not a problem ......... when my time is up its up .....

watchbuff ill take you up on the replacement (as long as i get the helicopter skills afterwards .if not the goldfish will have to do )

the oporation should only take about 2 hours ,i have to stay awake during it incase they suck to much off and leave me intelligent :biglaugh:

they have insisted i stay in for at least 5 days afterwards so they can give me bed baths from the sexy nurses ( im dreaming that will happen and have given the pubes a shave in anticipation )

if i can get my iphone to sink up with my netbook ill be boaring you all with the pics of my bed baths :cute:
I still think ill take the ebel so it mathes my eyes :GEEK:

Good man Sam.

Hope it all goes well for you; for a sec then, I thought your wife had ordered you to have the bit that buys watches removed!

Ebel is a good choice (and a beauty mate), but as ahw has said, if it's nice, someone is going to want to steal it (our hospitals are crawling with theives).

That said, wear a Rolex. I know you have some nice ones any self-respecting thief would want. ;)
