Hello. I just joined and look forward to learning from the information posted here.
I bought my first replica in 1983. It was a good $15-20 Rolex President, which I gave $100 for on the street near Bloomingdales in NYC.
Since then, I've bought mostly in Chinatown, NYC and in Beijing.
My favorite is a fully functional Daytona automatic with all chronograph functions that work (stop watch). I've worn it pretty much daily for the last five years, and it still looks and works great.
I have a few real watches: Rolex GMT Master II, Breitling, and some Hamilton's, since that is my name. That's the only brand my father wore. I have one the two he owned during my lifetime. My brother has the other.
My favorite Hamilton is the "Franklin" model that I bought at a flea market. Not everyone has their name (Franklin Hamilton) on their watch
I started looking for a site like this when I learned of Tourbillon watches and what they are. Interesting movement, to say the least.
I'd like to acquire a reasonably priced, name branded, authentic looking replica Tourbillon, hence, here I am to learn as much as I can.
As a side, I collect Hot Wheels for a hobby and can be found on Hotwheelscollectors.com threads, also as frankhamil.
Thanks.
