Referral Discount: I may be out of my place here but ...

Dealers please dont hate !! ... BUT ....... It may be good for business !!

OK I'm defo new ..Just ordered my 1st rep today (Thanks Rooster for all your help btw!!)

... but already feel that I have always belonged here.

I've already talked about this site and what it offers to many friends and so many are already interested !!

Would it be viable for dealers to offer some sort or referral/recommendation discount ??

Maybe this has been covered before ...If it has sorry for the re-post !!

That would be up to the individual dealer, and I don't know of any that currently offer anything like that.

A general RWI discount would be great (WE already does something similar).

A personal referral discount would not be good because we (as buyers and recommenders) need to maintain our neutrality in order to give objective feedback. I recommend the dealer(s) I do based on their performance (which can change in this business). A discount from one of them might sway me or someone else one way or the other. I personally could not consider positive feedback of a dealer if I knew the buyer was getting a discount for referring them.

Exactly!
We need to stay as un-biased as possible, or this place becomes a sham.
Besides, we'd just keep referring each other and it would be a logistics nightmare for the dealers
So just think of it this way: you were referred to the dealers by RWI, and for that referral you saved hundreds of dollars over the myriad of rip-off sites out there. And now it's your turn to pass the savings along to your friends.

By the way - WELCOME!! I can't wait to see the (mandatory) pics of that new watch when it arrives. :cool2:

+1 to levelmanroger. Even then, this should be done case by case and depending on your relationship with the dealers in particular.

We do have sometimes (rarely) a group buy where 10-20 members buy the very same watch from the same dealer.

Jeez- they'd have a back log of watches to fix/replace etc.....
