Watcheden has been placed on probation as a dealer with immediate effect. This move was brought on by numerous complaints and issues with their business practices and customer service...

The staff strives to make RWI a safe haven for the enthusiast by acting as the 22,000 member force we are.... the staff would never fully promote a dealer we would not use ourselves and sadly, Watcheden is drifting to this category...

It is our sincere hope that Watcheden will pay attention to the change in their status and implement whatever they need to in order for them to return to a level of service that we demand from our dealers....

Well done LOS and the rest of the crew. WE have been sprending too much time lately posting pithy one liners on peoples threads here lately and not enough time living up to there statements. I refer to the big thread they started about there new QC department etc. What a load of rubbish.
I noticed you said in the shoutbox yesterday you were going to do some house keeping. Interested to see if you bring any new dealers into the frame.
As for me HONT - HONT - HONT he's my man if he can't do it no one can.
As an example- I wanted to but some ladies watches that WE had on their site I asked Hont for them he replied with (and this is a direct cut and paste "dear friend. They are not good quality. I will not sell you."
More dealers like him I say. I think some have been here too long and think they can be moved.

For what it's worth, I ordered an Oris from them 3 weeks ago and the watch was perfect. Love their site, well laid out and they take C.C.'s! Everyone loves Hont, never ordered from them, but their site looks like a mess with multiple pics of the same watch with no prices or anything. I hope W.E. steps up, they have a good site with a good selection with credit card option which is tops in my book.

+1. If they can get their shop in order, great! Regardless, I will spend my watch money with other trusted dealers. It's a karma thing...

hey thats sad. i hope they can get their business back to acceptable standards as it would be a shame to lose a dealer.

having said that its communities like this that keep them honest so thanks for this LoS!

Thanks for looking out for us. I had a transaction that was just barely satisfactory and never bought from them again on principal alone. For me it's Hont, D4M, and T4D, never a problem with them and always satisfied.

I have ONLY ever used WE myself, except for a strap I got from Puretime. But all my actual watches are from WE.

Never had ANy trouble with them at all, fast communication etc.

That said, there have been complaints recently that cant be ignored. I hope they sort themselves out as I like thier site and as has already been said, they accept CC, which is convinient for me.

I hope Tony and Sarah read this and take it on board that we dont WANT to lose them, but we may have no choice.

Great job Admins and Mods. You guys always seem to be working in the interest on the community, and I appreciate it. As far as WE is concerned... I have not used them, but I hope they can get back to "normal." It is always better to have multiple options.

Wise decision.
Their webstore might look attractive, but answers like "the watch we sent is the one we pictured, maybe the lighting of the pics made you think you would get a great watch but actually it's a P.O.S" just made it for me...
What I see is that there are less and less reliable dealers. Hope to see serious newcomers.
