Is Anyone Else Having Problems???

Every time, and I mean EVERY TIME, I post a reply, I get a message that says RWI has had an error and I should refresh.
Some times it has actually posted my thread (I kjnow this because after I go to the effort to re-type the entire response and click to submit, it tells me it's a duplicate), and sometimes it has not. Often even if it tells me it is a duplicate reply, it still posts it so I have double posts and look like an a**clown!
I have taken to copying EVERY reply before clicking to post it.

Also, I can't reply to a thread AT ALL from my iPhone anymore, because appearantly I need some stupid security token that I obviously don't have.
So in nearly 2 hours on the forum tonight, I've been able to look at 4 threads and get responses posted (often multiple times) to 2.

I'm trying to be patient, but the frustration is mounting. I want my old RWI back. I know it had warts and farted a lot, but I loved it with a white-hot love that transcends all shortcomings. Plus the new darkness is really hard to read in my truck with any sunlight coming through the windows (which it usally does because I work in the day time).

So for the 2nd time in my 1 year on RWI (2nd time today, as a matter of fact), I must say... WTF?????? Was this new and improved site developed by the federal government?

And, yes - I copied this post just in case. I'll let you know how posting a new thread works out for me.

Merging all the threads for this. Also deleting the duplicate posts.

Blame me - I'm an idiot who screwed up the database settings without testing thoroughly. It has been fixed. Sorry guys...

Don't be daft - apology not needed. I have seen some mammoth balls-ups with software migrations in my time. This one was peanuts, lol.

BUT (yes theres always a But) - you can make amends by getting us all a rep of our choice, lol.

I'm with you, brother.

BTW, I get that database error too, but so far as I can tell, the post has gone up every single time, despite that error. So I always compose the reply in a new tab and when I get the error message, I simply close out the stupid tab.

Change your board to Impact Blue (choices in the lower left corner of the screen). It's bad enough that you type responses in your moving truck, but we can't have you squinting to read the board while you're driving too. :)

+1...any old thread posted links...to another RWI thread or links posted in member signatures...those links get redirected to the old RWI site to an error message....members need to check any of their old posted links
