Interesting...

The dial ironically look like a rip-off of the Pink Cherry Blossom Murakami pattern, from Louis Vuitton's Tambour watch.

Does a gen of that exist? On a Masterpiece bracelet, maybe?

In all honesty, Rolex diamonds have good fire--those rep CZs aren't going to glow any more than your average water glass--the fake diamond ones are an easy spot as a fake.

If she wants pink, you could always try one of the salmon dials on an oyster--very similar to the gen.

Also, Swiss Ladies Datejusts shouldn't go for more than $218, maybe $228 if it's gold-plated---$260 at that site is a rip-off.

Thanks for that information, maybe your right about the diamonds too

I'm having great difficulty finding a good online dealer who sells Ladies Rolex watches - can anyone suggest a trusted dealer? The watch has to have a Swiss movement too!

Sure you want a Ladies? They're awful small by today's standards. I got one for my wife and it never gets worn. Most women these days are wearing the men's size or the mid size DJs.

I'm looking for a ladies Rolex as well. So if it's alright, I'll ask here instead of making a new topic.
How is the quality of gold plating on these watches? Should I better buy a SS instead?
I know this has been answered somewhere before, but I could not find the thread.

That is a new design DJ dial supposed to appeal to ladies but ironically is only available on the mens' model (36mm). Part of the ladies wearing larger watches movement.
I just bought a mens' DJ for myself (I am a girl) from Hont, with eta clone movement. It has a pink mop dial with diamond markers. Looks very pretty. Here is the watch I bought viewtopic.php?f=11&t=28955&hilit=wife+mop
Ruby still has it listed on her website if you would prefer to buy from her. Personally I would never wear anything the size of a ladies' DJ as it looks silly in my opinion - way out of proportion with my wrist. Also, I think stainless steel looks much less flashy, more modern and easier to pull off than tt or yellow gold.

Personally, unless a woman is a bit larger, I think mens--and even most mid-size--watches look ridiculous on women. I know it's a trend, but it's too masculine looking and most trends should be avoided.

Couldnt agree more. I placed an order for a 38mm and 33mm Channel J12 and the 38mm looked out of place on my gf's wrist. Its not elegant, instead more it looked more awkward and as if she had picked up one of my watches to wear.

Gio, its thanks to you my gf has now made me place an order for a salmon faced datejust after she saw your pics :D
