Hi again all,

So Im in on my second dark brown leather strap for a watch of mine.

First out was a darkbrown Hirsch -> This looked good, but in normal daylight it looked a little red/bloodred/wineredisch.

So, a little dissapointed I got a dark brown Rios strap. Bought this one online, and sked the guy to describe the colour to me and asked if it was a little "brown-redisch" in daylight ad he said no, its dark brown.

but same thing with the Rios strap. Sorry that I dont have any pictures to post, but thought I would ask if this is the case with dark brown straps? I.e you can not get it without the light reflecting a slight bloodred colour?

And if you have one, please let me know so I can get it :D

Tredjegången gillt -> As we say in swedish
Third times a charm....... (Do you really say it like that?) :D

Well I tried anyway.

and as always Im more than thankfull for any input from you fellow members!

Cheers
Mike

Pcsam: Yes its gen Hirsch, bought it at the local AD.

Maybe its just me beeing picky, but I dont like the colour of it in normal daylight. Inside is lovely dark brown colour is fantastic, but its something in day light that makes it look like the colour on thoose fugly bloodred leather sofas popular in the 80´s (I think)

Cheers

Hooligan: Thanks a lot! The pics in savage´s appears to be taken in day light outside and does still appear to have a really nice darkbrown colour to it.

Part of the reason why im asking this is also that im going to have a strap custom made for my Patek 5165 and replace the rubber to make it more wearable in dresseier occations, and I would hate spending money on genuine croc and get a colour I disslike :D

Cheers
Mike
