Ok so i baught a dj from ruby and it was or does have swis eta movement. but it does not have a smooth sweep it is a little faster than a 21j but its not the same as a gen rolex. did i get burned or does it need to just be serviced. i also have a clone that has an even slower beat rate. So my question is, is there a place i can but the swiss eta movement and replace the one i have. Thanks

If the watch that you bought from Ruby has a Swiss eta 2836-2 or 2824 movement in it, then it has a 28.8k beat rate. That is the highest you are going to get.
There is no reason to spend more money on another eta movement... your going to get the same thing that is in the watch now.
Does the watch keep accurate time? Set it with the national atomic clock and see how many seconds per 12 or 24 hours it gains or loses... If it is accurate even to within 30 seconds per day, you are fine and the watch most likely does not need an immediate service. It can easily be adjusted to withing decent specs.
If it is more than 30 seconds per day +/- then it should probably be looked at.

Hope this helps...
