there is no good rep of the breitling emergency, they are using gen pictures. that should tell you immediately they are a scam site. if you want to purchase from them do so at your own risk and post the pictures of what they send you.

we will be waiting.......

Oh no you're not advertising. Just reposting the site links again right after HK takes them down.

Thanks for all the good answers :)

If there are using pics of the real it will be to risky to buy from them.

I have an other question then. I need a watch that is good for flying. If have to be cheap and good. It have to have a lot of pilot stuff in it.

That's a nice watch, jmd33. Is it a rep or a gen? I hope your not showing pictures of a rep watch and claiming it's a gen.. :D

Get a genuine Casio or Seiko. Those are cheap, good and reliable and has all the pilot stuff you need.

If budget allows, a Tissot T-Touch is not a bad choice too. It seems that for you, quartz is the way to go.

If yours is mission critical and needs all the mil stuff, get yourself a satellite phone.

That Tissot T-Touch is soooo nice :) But a little bit expensive. But it have a lot of nice pilot stuff in it :) But i don´t think it is so stylish.

Do you know where i can get a rep of a good pilot watch with some working functions in it ? I need 2 clocks. One for the normal time and one for utc. And i would like a E6B computer in it. Do u know if that is possible ?

Thank you for that friendly reply :)

Mate if I was a passenger in a plane and the pilot had a rep watch in case of emergencies, I sure as hell wouldn't be flying with him.
I mean not disrespect- but these are reps- not genuine watches. They are not made in the same sort of quality controlled environment that a gen watch is. Infact there is rarely any qc.
A gen watch at $80 will be far more reliable than a rep worth $80..... correct me if I'm wrong fellas.
cheers

+++ if your are flying and need critical information at the ready why chance your safety and/or the safety of passengers with you with inaccurate readings from a rep that my break down.

in your case go gen, do't know your finances, maybe not the top of the line model but one that can be sufficient for your current flight needs yet versitle to be upgraded later.

the other thing by what you like not what we suggest; afterall you will be the person wearing it and using it!

best of luck in your search!

Thank you for the fast reply. I am not flying with passengers yet. Right now i am in my study period so i don´t have a lot of money to spend on a watch.

We allways have a backup watch in the cockpit. So don´t worry :) hehe.

But i will continue seaching for a cheap, good looking watch with some pilot stuff in it that i can use in my study period.

Thank you guys for helping me :)

Jais, you need a Seiko SNA411a
seiko_SNA411.jpg

Working E6b, quartz accuracy and a cpl of hundred bucks if you search on the web. A great pilots watch at a good price point. Very reliable as well.

I should point out that none of the slide rule scales on reps should be trusted as they are all out of kilter and do not line up as they should. NEVER USE ONE FOR FLIGHT CACULATIONS!

The Seiko on the other hand is perfect and as accurate as a full size E6b if your eyes are young enough to read it.

Just google SNA411 mate. Be wary of any too cheap as there is a rep of this and peeps may be selling the rep as a gen. May be some used on the bay too.
