Hi Guys,
OK time to buy my first rolex rep and seen a few people raving on about the lovely GMT MASTER II reps.
Which one is best?

http://www.timeshops.net/RO7987_-_Rolex ... 99-515.htm

http://www.watcheden.com/rolex-gmt-mast ... 2-p-1.html

They are similar in price but are they diff versions or anything?
im a novice with this and it is my first so i want something as close to gen as possible and not 'bling'.
if you can reccomend any other rolex rep for under $150 which is a very good copy then please let me know :)
Thanks Guys!

timeshops actually states 138USD include shipping! in the description...
Wonder if they will honour it?
they also have a promo code 'usd20' to knock $20 off making it £118 shipped

these 2 watches are the same thing as they both have the same 21j movement.
there is potentially something funky in watcheden's description of the bracelet where they describe it coming with the diver's extension. the GMT is not a dive watch per se so no need for the dive extension. mine doesn't have it and i would bet if you ordered the watch from watcheden that it would come without it. my sub on the other hand does have it.

perhaps someone who has the gen could enlighten us here if they have the dive extension on their ceramic GMT master II bracelet.

I say go for the dealer, not the watch.

Read the reviews of the dealers, then pick the watch and order it (mostly it is the exact same stuff - ie, 21j is 21j is 21j.)

Or, you could just email Hont a picture and get the exact watch you are looking for.

Or, you could pm Fakey and get a great (and I mean GREAT) watch.

Or, you could figure out who D4M is and bu7 something from him.

Point is - since the reps are are made in the same place (except Fakey's "special" watches), you pick your dealer then your watch.

Ill enlighten you. I dont have the gen but i know what they mean. It has a "comfort" extension, similar to the subs extension but much smaller. For when your wrist swells in heat and cold.

Ditto.

...Also, as the GMT-Master II "Ceramic", other Rolex models already use the ComfortLink (or EasyLink) extension on its clasps. Like for instance:
- the Cosmograph Daytona (Interestingly, the Daytona seems to be the first Rolex to earn the Comfort Link, and not the GMT-Master II Ceramic. As I´ve seem some older models with the ComfortLink on it already.)
- the Datejust Turn-o-Graph, and all Rolex´s with the new style Oyster bracelet are making use of it also, so you will find it on alot more watches that you thought of.

It´s a big improvement, and a hell of a practical feature. I really love this thing.
:D

Cheers,
