I know people will always tit for tat on things like this but I don't care. People have been killed by both tasers and stun guns. Therefore I consider them to be a lethal weapon. I consider pulling any lethal weapon as an intent to kill someone. I don't care who you are. Do that to me you're done. End of story. Do that to my cat I kill you then go to work on you (it's an animal thing). Do it to my wife and I start looking for extended family members after I'm done with you.

i am with you fakie,

hell fakie, the cambridge police should be very glad they didn't pull that stunt here on my place like they did with henry gates. after they secured the house there was absolutely no reason to ask him to come outside other than to play their laws in their favor.

the 911 call gave them probable cause to enter the house and investigate. after henry gates proved it was his house they were done. they needed a warrant to stay inside and harass him. that's one of the reasons they asked him outside.

Tasers and Stund Guns are lethal weapons.
I've read some disturbing statistics over the years indicating a lot including (not not limited to) deathtolls have risen after the introduction of tasers, some Counties have more ppl killed by Tasers than firearms every year, a californian study that a well placed gunshot is less likely to kill you than being tasered, the chance to die of a taser was about ten times higher. And the list goes on.

If anyone is ever pulling a Taser on me (or family), i will react with all force available and my actions WILL have the sole intent to kill the offender in order to protect myself.

'Nuff said.

/edit
if some sick individual should ram a Taser in my anus, he better makes sure that I'll never rise up again.

WOW there's a lot of tough guys on this site who like to threaten the police!

1st. The taser has never "killed" anyone. The poor "victims" we always see on the news who were tasered and then "mysteriously" died were 99.9% of the time hi as a kite and on a coke binge.

So good job defending the drug addicts of the world who want to fight with the police.

2nd. The taser up the ass thing....is there a vid posted of the incident? What's not to say the ONLY portion of this guys body available to be tasered was his ass? The only physical injury sustained from a tasering is the actual probes sticking in you and maybe injury sustained if you fall to the ground.

I have lots of pre ban talon ammunition and leflon coated hand loaded 147 grains for just such an emergency. I assure you that I would not be the husbabd that stands by as his wife gets assualted by some angry high school jock. And she'd do the same for me. Probably worse because she brings an emotional component in things. She has seen some of the things I've done and now that she's had extensive stored musle memory training she can run the steel train on someone before they finish blinking. what a woman, I would move bodies for her.

+1
Our cops just got Tazers and folk are dieing. They have their place, better to be tazed than shot IMO but too much potential for missuse. A guy just died up north, cops swore they hit him four or five times but when the wepon was downloaded it had been discharged 138 times! Gee, he's dead. Can't understand why.

when you are on my property or in my home you will be respectful, nothing else will be allowed by me. i don't know where you live but in the heartland you enter a mans home, wrongly accuse the owner of b&e, find out you just wrongly accused him of b&e, threaten to take him to jail because you don't understand why he was upset? the probability of somebody being carried out on a stretcher just went up about 1,000%.

around here we have a saying that works pretty good. don't start no shit and there won't be no shit.

First off I agree with the flat foot here. lol (Sorry Butch couldn't resist.) If you are being tasered, your probably out of line. I respect the job these people in law enforcement do. When some drunk druggie threatens the safety of others he needs to settle his shiet down or be taken down by force, it's a choice.

I'm not a cop or in law enforcement but I have a taser under my bed. Anyone comes into the house under cover of darkness with an invitation can expect a nasty shock. The cops do a great job but as in any proffession a small number of bad eggs give everyone a bad name.
cheers

Still laughing at the earlier posts- lets get back to this being funny. Enough serious stuff on TV news.

I'm not threatening the Police, i'm threatening everybody pulling a Taser, it's a difference.

If there is a medical indication of any kind, that a Taser might be harmful to the recipient, be it because of drugs, a pacer or just a plain arythmic heartbeat, than no Taser should be used. If the person dies nonetheless, the person administering the Taser dosage just wasn't qualified to do so. This makes this person and it's employer fully responsible for the murder on the victim. Period.

Is there a video of any with burning from the middle ages? Is there any video from the german gas chambers? No?
So that never happened?

Fact is, if you pull a weapon on somebody, it is with the intent to kill and you will go through the decision process if you are willing to take responsibility of possibly being responsible for the death of a human being and the suffering for everybody involved.

Tasers are "non-lethal" and don't have this barrier decision.

Tasers enable sadistic Fothermuckers in the service to be those sadistic primeeval scum that they are without any punishment and Departments deploying Tasers are willingly enabling them to so.

People have different reactions to the electric pulses from taser. No, not only "hi as a kite" person get affected.. There are enough documented cases of normal people dying, I dont see why we are even arguing.I dont know which genius came up with these, that should be one of the dumbest meanest mofo around..

LOL @ the police fighting btw, half the problems originate on their side mate. I dont get it why everyone gets so hot about the "law enforcement officers doing their duty", most of the time these make wrong decisions

I think this discussion is exactly why manufacturers, distributors and law enforcement agencies have adapted the term "less lethal" and stopped using "non lethal".

I personally object to the use of "less lethal", "less than lethal" or "non lethal" weapons and always have. If someone is acting in a threatening manner, and force beyond hand to hand combat or physical restraint is necessary... then they deserve to be shot.

I would like to see a study of these deaths by taser. As someone who was a test subject an a training session, I have been shot with a taser. YEAH, it was not a great experience. And I was not feeling to well for nearly two days. But I dont see how a HEALTHY person without previous injury, disease or defect is going to die from being tased. I guess its possible, but I sure dont think it happens very often.

Sorry but I lost all interest in this topic when my Blacksteel showed up on my doorstep 3 days ago. I can't stop staring at it's beauty.
