looking for watch for wifey

quartz movement
saphire glass, (I actually find this combo hard to get - most quartz only says mineral crystal or some other euphemism for glass!!!)

rolex yachtmaster, omega constellation, tag aquaracer - that kind of thing (ie s/s, no/little diamonds, little bit sporty)

any suggestions of good reps would be very appreciated

thanks

my understanding is that synthetic sap. = GLASS

ie it will scratch

for some reason, most quartz movements come with cheap glass

I vote for the White, non-bling Chanel J12. I got one from Sead and my wife loves it. It's beautiful and quite accurate (I wouldn't be able to tell a difference without a magnifying glass).

Model : White full Ceramic Case, Bracelet and Dial , Spring loaded Deployant clasp
Movement: Japanese Quartz Movement
Functions: Hours, Minutes, Secs, Date ( Set via crown)
Dimensions : Width 33mm x 10mmThk
Material : Ceramic in glazed finish
Back : Solid case back
Crown : One-piece pull out crown
Crystal: Sapphire Crystal
Water-resistant

Perfect Clones has the same one I bought: http://www.jpc8118.com/cha10011-white-c ... -2280.html

While I can't be sure how the dealers interpret this, actually ALL sapphire crystals are synthetic. This has nothing to do with glass, its just that such natural sapphires dont exist. If a comparable piece was in natural sapphire, it would be worth easily millions.

OK, so I used the search feature and found this:
