Thanks for the tips. I am going to request he send a package with one of the dress shirts and one of the Lacoste polos so I can try the sizes out and then place the large bulk order.

Did he charge you multiple times for shipping (once for the test package, and then twice for the other two packages) ?

Thanks man

Yes he charged me $25 per package.
However honestly... small price to pay to get it all fitting correctly.
:)

Got to figure each one of these shirts retails for $75 or more.. so your getting a good deal !

It would have been a very sad day had I gotten a package of 20 shits.... and they all fit wrong. So definitely its worth the price to check out the sizes first and then order the rest.

Sounds good - thanks for your tips! Can you take pictures of the dress shirts you ordered? Also, when you ordered them did you just say "I want a 16.5 inch shirt" or did you give actual measurements? Trevor asked me for actual measurements but I'm not sure if he's going to get these shirts tailored to fit my measurements or just find ones that are around my lengths.

I used the measurement chart he has on his sites.
( I only have one dress shirt from him.. and its really not even that much of a dress shirt, the rest are still to come in package 2 and 3)

I looked at the chart and told trevor I'm a 15.5 neck and what ever that correlated to on the chart.. then he did the rest.

Fits well and I cant really complain :)

Your right though, he wont be tailoring it to your specific size so I think the most important thing would be to give him your neck size.

So.... after waiting for a few weeks to finally get everything set w/ Trevor...

(The correct Burberry shirts with the horizontal pattern..)

He just send me pictures of the Burberries he's taken 2 weeks to get for me.......
and their wrong.

collarf1lf.jpg

He promised he'd send me the type on the left....
and after two weeks of looking he's just sent off the package with the ones on the right.

What the hell has he been looking for the past 2 weeks .....
he has those wrong burberries in stock... so basically he just waited 2 weeks then said he'd found them.

Ahh that's too bad to hear STE. Did you receive that package already or was that just an e-mail from Trevor saying 'these are the shirts I can get'?

How are your Lacoste polos holding up? I just placed a test order for:

2 size 6 (large) Lacoste Polos
1 size 5 (medium) Lacoste Polo
1 Paul Smith dress shirt (size 16.5 neck)
1 Armani dress shirt (size 16.5 neck)

I'll post pictures once it arrives. I hope they are good quality shirts.

oK so better news.

Trevor just emailed me telling me he didnt ship the Burberry Polo's with the second package.
So he will continue to look for the correct type of shirt that he has on his site. ...

Though this has been annoying,
he is actually very good w/ his customer service.

So I'll probably end up waiting another 2 weeks till he gets the right type of shirt, but hey you know what... Under $12 bucks per shirt when the Gens cost +95$

And as for the Lacoste and polo's I have been wearing them quite often and they have held up great !
So I really cant complain :)

i have to share my own experience with Trevor who is really
a great dealer .i'd first ordered some Ties (LV ) , cufflinks and Mont
blanc Belts . i 'm really impressed from the quality for all the products .
ties 're in very good silk quality , as good as the one i wear each day .
belts and cufflinks are same quality as gen (i have some for comparison ) .

here some pics :

so i decided to have a new order from trevor with some polo 's ralph lauren
and some dress shirt (armani and ralph lauren ) .
believe me or not , the quality is very stunning even after several cleaning in the washmachine.
some friends just came back from south africa where they bought some ralph lauren 's polo in official shop ...they payed 35 € each , with trevor , they 're at 18 € and i must admit that the quality from trevor is much better .
hope this review will help you having a choice , and be as satisfied as I m .

thanks for reading .

DvK.

Placed a test order with Trevor on Tuesday, paid on Wednesday, and now he hasn't responded to any of my e-mails! I'm sure everything is fine but is this normal for all of you guys who have ordered from him before?

Normally he wont or doesn't respond on the weekends.
Give it a few more days I'm sure he'll get to you.

The RL polos look okay, but I doubt that someone who sits next to you with a gen lacrosse will not see the difference. I have seen soo many fake RL and Lacoste shirts, costing all abouz 30$ each that I have decided it's just not worth buying a fake when you can get the gen for 60$ or even less at an outlet store!

Slay the RL and Lacoste shirts are both really superior to any fakes you might have seen.
I went into the local Lacoste store to try on some of the Gen clothing and wore in my fake Lacoste shirt .. in the fitting room I checked them out .. took my time there is little difference. (my Lacoste shirts and A&F shirts are all up in my apartment in NY so went to the local store to try on shirts here in MA)

So little that no one is going to notice.. example.. the gen has slightly smaller buttons.. so much smaller that no one is really going to notice ...

I am very picky about reps "fakes" and would not wear something that did not look 99.7% gen.

But I can see how you would think they are low quality. I was skeptical hence why I got a "tester" package first to see if I liked the quality before ordering more.

anyways as I have gen RL, Lacoste and A&F shirts anyways, I am accustom to what the real article is like and the fakes really did surpass my expectations.

Just received my package today. Size 6 Lacoste polos fit and look great.

The Paul Smith and Armani dress shirt that I ordered are made of very thin material. I am not sure if the genuine shirts are like this, but if they are, I would probably never buy one. A dress shirt from Wal-mart has more material than one of these! If the gens are like this then that is ridiculous, since they charge over $100 for a shirt with $1 worth of material. They LOOK good though, but the material is super thin. I would probably stay away from ordering more.

I will however be ordering more Lacoste polos. These things are a steal at $12/shirt.

I also just got my (second) package today.

I have to say both the Lacoste and Ralph Lauren polo's are great steals !!!

Good material and very accurate. The Lacoste even have the pearl coloured buttons.

I'm still waiting on the burberry shirts - well see how those go.

In the mean time get yourself these shirt.

So I was actually thinking of explaining that in my original post, but I figured I'd just let ppl take it for what it is.

its kinda odd... but we all went out for drinks after the conference and one of the guys split beer on his coat and shirt, took it off (ppl were very merry at this point)
and stayed in his shirt that he had on under the lacoste polo shirt.

Anyways while it was off... I walked over to it and compared it to the one I was wearing haha.
felt the same :) .. good quality fabric

The other guy might be wearing a rep as well...both of your shirts might actually be from the exact same factory...LOL

Don't get me wrong, I am definitely hooked on rep stuffs. Anyway, it's good to hear the fabric quality is good.

Be cautious with the sizes, I wear XL or XXL in gen shirts, so I ordered XXL to be on the safe side. The shirts that arrived (Burberry and Lacoste) were barely L and maybe medium even though they were marked XXL. I even tried on the XXL Lacoste in the departement store before ordering to check. I could barely get into the XXLs from trevor.

Trevors shirts were no where near true to size.

The XXL is the largest burberry size according to trevor.

I may reorder one XXXXL just to check it out as I doubt that the XXXL is much bigger, but the shipping charge is annoying.
