Well all gold is going to be tricky..Most if not all the stuff on the market ir pretty much plated, some stuff my be wrapped, but after wearing it a while it will start to fade...

There's nothing inherently wrong with a gold plated watch. There are lots of mid priced and expensive gold plated ones. Ever see some of the old Rolex Tudor two tone watches where the gold plate has worn through. Seiko is another one who makes a lot of them.
Absolutely true. But I'm willing to bet Rolex and Seiko use a different process than rep manufacturers!!

Yeah... But I bet that is a customs risk the seller is not willing to take.

The best way to have that one sent would be to have the watch without the dial sent to you and the dial in a seperate package.
I bet you could build one with a gen movement for that price in 14k-18k. The case is usually about $1600 and the band is another $1400. The gen movement would be about $800. With a nice dial you could be in it for $4000 with a GEN movement!
