Handed Over To Customs

Hi Everyone - New here. I spent some time reading the forum and took the plunge by placing an order for a Sub with Mark at Timesshop. The current tracking says 'Handed To Customs' for yesterday (Sunday). Is this bad news or just standard terminology for the package going through customs?

depending on the Country you are in, in Germany it would mean that the watch is gone.
UK would be ok

I've ordered from Mark too & no worries the standard EMS tracking goes something like this (excerpt from my last one):

2009-06-15 20:45:00 NORWAY OSLO EMS Arrival at Sorting Center
2009-06-15 20:45:00 NORWAY OSLO EMS Handed over to Customs
2009-06-16 09:45:00 NORWAY OSLO EMS Released from Customs
2009-06-17 12:06:00 NORWAY 4313 Attempted delivery

Hopefully you should be fine

Bought two from Mark & tracking number quote in two days after receipt of payment - normally same day / next day - figure in three to four days from when you send the payment & you're close - good luck, Mark's a great communicator

Don't worry too much about it. Most of the time it only holds up your shipment a few days. Remember, patience is important with this hobby. I know it's not easy but it gets easier as you make more purchases.

Hi All - Thanks for all your responses. My Sub arrived safely and un-tampered with late last week and has been on my wrist pretty much non stop. I am very impressed with it and by Mark at Timesshop's quality of service and will definately use him again (probably for an 'entry level' Omega).
