Hi,guys

Why is this replica watch thing so addictive  ?, i only started off with one Breitling navitimer, and now i have a Breitling evo two-tone and Panerai daylight, and have a mont blanc timewalker and iwc portugese on the way from timeshop, and also brought a 6 watch box to put them in.
God it`s worse than being married and shelling out for the missus non-stop

I am of the belief that there is a natural fascination in the male psyche that makes us vulnerable to this addiction. Those men who do not share this addiction are the ones with a fault, not us.
Dont worry my friend, we are all here for each other.

6 watch boxes. 12 watch boxes.

Pikers!

I'm looking at the coffee table in the living room right now..... there is a 20-watch box on it, full.
On top of it there are 13 more. Most reps, a few gens.
Next to THEM, there are FIVE genuine ship's chronometers- Hamilton Model 21, two Hamilton Model 22's, two Russian (Kirov and Poljot) ship's chronometers, one Bulova Navigator Mark III ship's chrono (Accutron-based)...

Then, on my computer desk, in front of the monitor, are no fewer than fifteen (!) aircraft clocks. Plus several itinerant pocket watches.

And we haven't even looked into the workroom yet..... nor counted the other antique clocks in the house..... believe me, there are more.

I need a twelve-step program. Now.

Here are a couple of pics- as an example- not quite as populated as I've described above; they were taken a few months ago!!

You might say, since I just retired in February, that I have more time on my hands than I know what to do with.

A wise man once said to me that one can't have too much money nor too large a garage. Add, too many timepieces :!:

12 is far too small

This is one of mine - it holds 40 (admittedly it's not full in this photo and some of 'em belong to my wife). The thing is, this is an old photo - I've bought a few more watches since then... and it's not my only watchbox.... :?

You really should have taken up smoking crack - it's far less addictive. Less expensive, too
