yes, if i were you i would let the dealer know what has happened.
Nope, all at my cost. You do not get a warranty with these things, so six weeks old is a long time.Tubbs said:This does seem an extreme measure! but having said that, it was an expensive watch, if you cannot find a solution to replacing the faux screws, id be inclined to pay the postage to return the watch.....surely they will be footing the bill at their end for new casing and labour etc.
The whole time process will be lengthy too. :?

I was hoping Mark at Timeshops might do something for me if I was to order another watch, but I guess I will have to wait and see.
If not I guess I am going to try to make some, although my 3 mtr long lathe seems a little large for something so small

he won't fix it? really? well that's interesting.
the reason he wants to replace the case is the case comes fully assembled crystal and all to the factory. the last time i priced one of those cases it was 65.00. i don't understand why he don't have you return it and take it back to the factory and make them fix it. :?
just for future reference ruby gives a 6 month warranty with her watches.
jboyddus said:I'm missing the exact same screw on my Blackbird; the difference being the screws in my bezel are actually screws........not sure that they serve any purpose, but they do screw in and out. I purchased the watch from Ruby and noticed the missing screw within a week. I emailed her over a week ago......have not heard back as yet.
jboyddus said:I did hear back from Ruby as well; she told me I'm out of luck on the screw....factory won't send her any. The watch is stopping periodically, (whether on wrist or winder), and loses about 3 to 5 min/day as well. Ruby said she'd cover "repairing" the watch with respect to these problems....but still offered no help on the screw.
I'm contemplating having the watch serviced locally and write the screw off. Any advice?
